All of its objections came from inherited interpretive frameworks: “progressive revelation,” “Pharisaic legalism,” “Roman historical context.” None came from the codices.

When tradition is confronted with raw textual data, it does not hold up. Not because it is unpopular. Not because it is “heretical.” But because the data contradicts it.

Truth is more relevant than consensus.
